This lard is produced using the part between the neck and the shoulder of pigs raised in Friuli Venezia Giulia . The lard is salted by hand , delicately spiced and smoked with cherry and laurel wood, and then naturally matured for about 3 months.

This process gives the lard a unique, slightly smoky flavor, with a soft, creamy texture. It is perfect for enjoying on its own, finely sliced on hot toast, or as a special ingredient in various gourmet recipes.
