Rosé wines

Rosé wines

The fascinating glass

Let's start by dispelling a myth: rosé wines , or rosé, are not obtained by working white grapes and red grapes together.

These particular wines with colors that fade from pink to orange follow a particular production technique which involves the white vinification of red berries. So grapes like the Merlot , Refosco and Pinot Noir are macerated in contact with the skins for a period that varies from a few hours to a maximum of two days depending on the result you want to obtain. The process then follows all the steps of white winemaking.

Rosé wines have fruity and floral aromas, they are fresh but still structured wines. Excellent for pairing with fish or rich first courses such as risotto.
