Marina Danieli's Merlot DOC Friuli Colli Orientali 2019 is an authentic expression of the viticulture of Friuli Venezia Giulia . Marina Danieli, a Buttrio agricultural company founded in 1870, is now in its fifth generation of winemakers.

Merlot is a DOC red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marin Danieli's Merlot has an intense ruby red color and a broad and vinous bouquet, with hints of dog rose and slightly herbaceous notes. On the palate, the wine is savory, with good persistence and roundness, enveloping the palate with its softness. Winemaking techniques include fermentation of destemmed grapes in steel tanks and French oak barriques, followed by aging for 18 months.

The Marina Danieli winery is located in Buttrio, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, an area particularly suited to viticulture thanks to its ideal microclimate. The estate extends over 100 hectares of vineyards, woods and vegetable gardens, and the Danieli family is committed to sustainability and the valorisation of the Friulian territory.
