Gustochef Herbed Barley

Gustochef's Orzotto alle Erbe is a delicious and tasty ready dish, made with pearl barley , spinach, aromatic herbs and Grana Padano DOP . This dish celebrates the Friulian tradition, transforming barley, an ancient cereal, into a refined and nutritious first course.

The preparation of the orzotto follows artisanal methods: the barley is cooked with a rich vegetable broth and a mix of aromatic herbs , including spinach and borage, which give the dish a delicate flavor and a fragrant texture. Grana Padano DOP adds a touch of creaminess, making the dish complete and tasty.

DISCOVERY METHOD

  • in the microwave (1-3 minutes at 700W) - Place the tray in the oven without removing the top film. The film may swell, this is a sign that the product has been heated sufficiently. Wait for the tray to return to its original shape and remove the film, paying attention to the release of residual steam which could cause burns.
  • in a traditional oven (5-10 minutes at 170°) - remove the product from the tray and transfer it to the baking tray
  • cooking in a bain-marie (10-15 minutes in hot water) - immerse the intact tray
  • pan cooking (10-15 minutes on medium heat) - remove the product from the tray and transfer it to the pan
