La Pitina Borgo Titol - La Glacere

Pitina is an authentic delicacy of Friuli Venezia Giulia, born from the need to preserve meat in the Friulian valleys, especially in Val Tramontina. This ancient recipe, now a Slow Food presidium , combines tradition and genuine flavours, offering a unique gastronomic experience.

Made with a selection of sheep and game meats, salted, spiced and smoked, the Pitina is dipped in corn flour for a crunchy finishing touch. Its consistency is compact, ideal for being sliced with a knife and placed on a cutting board or combined with traditional dishes such as polenta with mushrooms or Formadi Frant.
