The Cabernet Franc Blason Wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia enchants with an aromatic bouquet of cut grass, green pepper, ripe raspberry and licorice root, enriched with spicy notes. On the palate, it is dry and structured, ideal to accompany red meat dishes, roasts, cured meats and mature cheeses. Aged for six months in oak barrels , it is an expression of the Friuli terroir, with stony soils rich in iron and limestone, which strengthen its authentic character.

Soil : calcareous, pebbly, rich in iron oxides

Harvest time : end of September

Harvesting method : mechanical and manual

Vinification : destemming and maceration for 6-8 days at a temperature of 26°C with “delestage” and pumping over

Refinement : after malolactic fermentation the wine is placed in oak barrels for 6 months of refinement and 2 months in the bottle.
