Rosso Guido Tavagnacco is a wine made from dried red grapes .
The wine was given the name Guido Tavagnacco who is the author of the fresco with a harvest scene reproduced on the label.
The grapes used are slightly dried red grapes and the harvest is done in boxes with healthy grapes chosen at the beginning of October , in three steps .
The natural drying of the bunches is carried out for about a month in boxes. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks for 10 days with a maceration temperature of 26/28 °C .
Maturation follows in 225 liter French oak barrels for 12 months.
The taste is savory , slightly tannic , full-bodied, rounded with a persistent and pleasant aftertaste . Excellent overall balance with fruity flavors and soft, controlled tannins.
Guido Tavagnacco is recommended in combination with game , red meats , roasts , medium and long-life cheeses .
The optimal serving temperature is 15-16°C .
