Refosco dal Pendulo Rosso - Vendrame Vignis del Doge

Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Vendrame Vignis del Doge is a dry red wine with a unique flavour, rich in hints of green and black pepper and wild fruits . This wine represents the tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the passion of local producers.

Known as the farmers' wine, Refosco was almost forgotten in recent decades, but thanks to the dedication of the Vendrame family, it has returned to being appreciated. The cultivation method is Double Guyot, with a density of approximately 4,700 vines per hectare and a yield of 80 q/ha.

Perfect with dishes such as roast leg of lamb, pasta with ragù, stuffed aubergines, Tandoori chicken, Sichuan Chinese cuisine, broths and pan-fried fish. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
