Verduzzo Passito 2022 - Brojli Wines Aquileia

Imagine tasting a wine that contains centuries of tradition and passion. Verduzzo is a sweet passito wine typical of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a noble and ancient wine, a true oenological treasure, characterized by a sweet, fruity and persistent taste. This wine is grown on predominantly clay soil, which gives the grapes a unique richness.

The harvest is carried out manually, carefully selecting the best bunches . After harvesting, the grapes are left to dry in wooden boxes for around 8 weeks, a process which further concentrates the flavours. Fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature, guaranteeing the highest quality and authenticity of the product.

This wine is perfect for accompanying mature cheeses and dried fruit, and pairs beautifully with dessert after a meal. On the nose, it offers complex olfactory sensations that recall fruit and honey, while in the mouth it is pleasantly sweet and persistent.

The optimal serving temperature is 14-16 °C, to fully appreciate all its aromatic nuances. Every sip tells the story of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the dedication of the producers who have lovingly cultivated these lands for generations.
