Latteria Mezzano cheese , produced with passion in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia , tells the story of a cheesemaking tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation. This sweet and delicate cheese , through a maturation of 5/6 months, evolves into a more decisive and full flavor, with a greater savouriness that conquers the palate.

Its structure, more crumbly but still consistent, is a tribute to the quality of the raw materials and the artisanal techniques used. The straw yellow color of the paste and the smooth and elastic crust, combined with a soft paste and a light uniform eye, make each Latteria form a small masterpiece.

Produced in the morainic hills of Fagagna, Latteria di Borgo Plaudo brings with it the unique flavor of the territory: the perfect combination of fertile soil, a mild climate, and the local fodder, dried in the sun, that feeds the cows. Each form is recognizable by the symbol on the side and the Roman numeral (II), a distinctive sign of authenticity.
