Strucchi Dorbolò are delicious sweets typical of the Natisone Valleys , an authentic expression of the culinary tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia . Prepared according to an ancient recipe registered with the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies, these soft fried shortcrust pastry morsels contain a delicious filling similar to that of gubana, rich in walnuts, hazelnuts, raisins and pine nuts.

Originally, strucchi were made with the filling left over from the gubane and served at Carnival or as confetti for weddings . These artisanal desserts are closed on all four sides, like small ravioli, and offer a taste experience that evokes the traditional festivals and celebrations of the Friulian valleys.

Dorbolò , with its passion for quality and tradition, continues to produce these unique desserts using high quality ingredients , all coming directly from local producers. Each strucchi is a tribute to the region's rich culinary heritage.
