Very old Montasio Dop - Del Ben

Montasio Stravecchio represents the excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia cheeses. Born on the slopes of Monte Montasio, this DOP cheese is the result of over 18 months of maturation , during which it develops a unique and unmistakable character. Only the best forms are able to reach this maturation, guaranteeing superior quality.

This artisanal cheese, produced by Del Ben Formaggi , stands out for its crumbly texture and complex flavor. The aromatic notes of dried fruit and spices combine with a delicate sweetness and a harmonious spiciness, making every tasting an unforgettable experience. The natural rind and straw yellow color are distinctive signs of its long maturation.
