The seasoned lonzino is an excellence of the Friulian pork butchery , obtained from the loin of Large White pork , raised in compliance with animal welfare standards . The manufacturing process is completely artisanal, without the use of chemical preservatives, to preserve the authentic flavor of the meat.

The loin is carefully trimmed and cleaned of excess fat , then wrapped in a soft layer of lard , salted and left to mature in controlled environments. The result is a tender and tasty meat , with a perfect balance between sweetness and savouriness.
