Refosco Le Monde 2021 is a robust red wine produced with 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes, an indigenous vine of Friuli Venezia Giulia, coming from vineyards located in Prata di Pordenone, in the DOC Friuli Grave area. These vineyards, which cover over 100 hectares and include vines over 40 years old, rest on clay and limestone soils, a true CRU compared to the typical gravelly soils of the area.

Refosco 2021 has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The scent is enveloping, with warm notes of ripe red fruits and spicy fragrances . On the palate, the wine stands out for its harmony between body, mineral notes and a dense and silky tannic texture, offering a polite and aristocratic taste.

This wine pairs perfectly with full-bodied and structured dishes such as sausages, game main courses and wild boar . It is also ideal with first courses based on meat and mature cheeses. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18°C to enhance its organoleptic characteristics.

The harvest takes place in the last 10 days of September. The grapes are vinified with a maceration of 12-15 days, with daily pressing at a controlled temperature. The wine rests in steel and then in the bottle before marketing.
