The name Faralta derives from the Germanic tribe of the Lombards who ruled Friuli and north-east Italy after the Romans.
It means "high farm" as the wine is produced using the grape varieties that grow on the highest parts of our hills. Wine with a bright yellow color where the floral aromas stand out and balance well with the spiciness and toasting of the wine aged in barrique.

The result is a savory, fresh and balanced wine, with aftertaste hints of almond typical of Friuli but also white peach typical of Sauvignon.

This wine is the perfect match for vegetable-based dishes, and also goes very well with first courses with fish. If tasted very fresh it is the perfect partner for rich fried appetizers.

The soil is clayey-limestone, of Eocene origin, characterized by alternating layers of marl and green manure vineyard and cultivation in alternate rows, minimal use of copper and sulphur, without the use of chemical herbicides.
