Faralta Rosso - Red Wine - Marina Danieli

18.00

A garnet red wine, with good transparency, with a broad, persistent, slightly vanilla scent.
The result is a well-structured taste, with a light tannic tone. Long aromatic persistence.

Perfect for both white and red meat roasts. The classic pairing is with game and game, but it is also worth trying as an accompaniment to a cheese fondue.

The name derives from the Germanic tribe of the Lombards who ruled Friuli and north-east Italy after the Romans. It means "high farm" as the wine is produced using the vines that grow on the highest parts of our hills.

The river deposit soil, with a high skeletal content with silty loam texture.
Grapes destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins for a few days until the sugars are exhausted with daily pumping over. After pressing, with consequent separation of the must from the skins, the refinement continues in wooden containers until maturation. This refinement in the wood makes it soft and more complex. The wine is marketed after an adequate period of several months in the bottle.
