In the fertile alluvial plain of central Friuli, where winemaking tradition merges with artisanal passion, Refosco DOC Friuli Aquileia 2021 is born. This red wine obtained from 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes represents the soul of Friuli Venezia Giulia in every sip.

Refosco DOC fascinates with its bright ruby red color, with purple hues that capture the eye. On the nose, it reveals an intense and enveloping aroma, characterized by notes of vanilla and leather, enriched by a delicate hint of cherry and red fruits. On the palate, it is decisive and structured, with a pleasant tannicity that closes with a fresh spicy note, making it an ideal companion for dishes rich in flavor.

Produced using traditional methods , the vines are trained using the Guyot system, with a planting density of 4500 vines per hectare. After harvesting, the grapes are pressed and fermented with the skins for a week, a process that enhances the colors and aromatic compounds. Fermentation continues in steel, followed by aging in tonneau , which gives the wine its complexity and depth.
