Jiasik Bianco is a white wine of medium intensity and structure produced with Malvasia and Riesling grapes. This wine comes from the gravelly soils of Giassico, in the municipality of Cormons, in the heart of the Isonzo DOC, an area with an ideal microclimate for growing vines.

Borgo San Daniele is a winery managed by brothers Mauro and Alessandra Mauri. Located in Cormons, this winery works with great attention to sustainability, limiting production to enhance the unique characteristics of the territory. Every year, Jiasik is presented on the first day of spring, following the lunar phases for winemaking.

In the glass, Jiasik appears straw yellow in color. On the nose there are notes of flowers and yellow fruit, with a characteristic mineral touch of Riesling and the ripe fruit of Malvasia. In the mouth, the wine is soft and full, with perfectly balanced acidity and a long harmonious aftertaste.

This wine is very versatile and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with starters. It pairs perfectly with not too tasty first courses, white meats and fish, as well as unmatured cheeses. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 12-14°C to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities.

The whole bunch is chilled down to the glaciation temperature of the skins, then, after about 4 hours, it undergoes soft pressing and ferments at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. During the rest on the yeasts, weekly batonage is performed.
