Discover the product

Friul Bios yellow corn flour is born from a passion for the land and the care of artisanal processes that have made Friuli Venezia Giulia a land of excellence. This product, the result of slow and delicate milling, keeps all the nutritional properties of corn intact , enhancing the authentic flavor of Friulian tradition. Stone-ground , according to ancient techniques, this flour gives your table a unique experience, which takes you back to the genuine flavors of the past.

Corn, grown and harvested in Friuli, is dried naturally in the open air to maintain its organoleptic properties. Thanks to the selection of four different varieties of cobs, our flour has a rich coloration of shades that varies from yellow to intense red. The result is a polenta flour with a rustic and unmistakable flavor , which perfectly accompanies meat or vegetable sauces , or which can be used in the preparation of biscuits and desserts with a traditional flavor.

Each grain is carefully harvested, manually checked and dried in iron "gabions", thus preserving all the genuineness of the product. The slow stone milling reduces overheating and guarantees a flour rich in fiber , vitamins and mineral salts. This makes our flour not only tasty, but also easily digestible and nutritious.
