Schioppettino Roncsoreli Organic

Schioppettino Roncsoreli Bio represents an authentic jewel of Friuli Venezia Giulia , the result of a long winemaking tradition that has its roots in the 13th century. This ancient native grape variety, also known as Ribolla Nera, was almost extinct in the 19th century, fortunately it was brought back to life in the 1970s.

Of a deep ruby red colour, Schioppettino stands out for its complex and unmistakable aromas . On the nose it offers notes of dried plums, spices such as nutmeg, cloves and black pepper, accompanied by balsamic hints. On the palate, the sip is warm and savory, with a persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression.

The winemaking takes place in thermo-conditioned concrete tanks with maceration on the skins for 15-20 days. The refinement continues in truncated cone barrels and tonneaux for 24 months, with further aging in the bottle for another 24 months, giving the wine an elegant and complex structure.

This wine is the ideal companion for game dishes and mature cheeses, enhancing the intense flavors with its spicy note and balanced acidity.

Roncsoreli is a producer that embodies the passion and commitment to quality and tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli region, Roncsoreli is dedicated to the cultivation and production of wines that reflect the essence of the territory, using artisanal techniques passed down from generation to generation.
